Strawberry Coconut Mint Smoothie

Hey there lovely readers,

hot, hotter, last week –  its been super hot last week here in Germany. The temperatures reached over 35°C which not really usual here.
Within the hot days I don’t like to eat much because its just too much for my body. I get all tired, just really lazy. So I rather mix myself a great cool smoothie.
One of my favorites I have mixed this summer is a Strawberry Coconut Mint Smoothie.

Yes you read right. Mint. Peppermint is my this year favorite for drinks. Its healthy and hey the menthol is cooling! So don’t blame.

All you need for this smoothie is:

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • ½ cup coconut milk (fresh, canned, whatever you have)
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • ½ banana
  • 1 scoop protein powder {(optional) I like to add it with coconut flavor}
  • 5-6 fresh leaves of peppermint
  • 1-2 teaspoons coconut flakes

Add all these to your mixer and mix it for a couple of seconds until there aren’t any big pieces left.
